AYAC supports ACOSS on the Bonus for Jobless Youth

Yesterday the Australian Council of Social Service (ACOSS) published a media release, ‘Bonus For Jobless Australians Will Give Financial Relief But Won’t Increase Job Offers’.

ACOSS stated that more incentives are needed to encourage employers hire young long-term job seekers, and also declared the punitive measures as too harsh.

AYAC supports ACOSS’s position on the Coalition’s proposed plan.
