Our Purpose

AYAC was formed to improve outcomes for young people by delivering high-quality youth engagement, sector support and policy work.  

We provide opportunities for young people to develop the confidence, skills and connections they need to lead change.  

Through our sector support we cultivate partnerships and foster coordination that enhances knowledge sharing and improves outcomes for young people.  

Our policy work provides evidence-based recommendations to the decision-makers that centre the voice of young people and the contribution to their lives made by the youth sector. 

Across all our work, we value inclusion, respect and collaboration in pursuit of improved outcomes for young people.
