Training and Workshops for Young People
GOVERNANCE
This training equips young leaders with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively participate in governance structures within organisations or government (e.g., as a general board member or steering committee member). Through this training, young people can develop an understanding
of governance roles and responsibilities, and how they can meaningful contribute in decision making processes.
MEDIA, ADVOCACY & IMPACT STORYTELLING
In a supportive environment, young people will learn to workshop their story to safely use for media advocacy and impact-storytelling. This training also covers techniques and strategies
for effective advocacy, and information on the media cycle.
Youth Engagement Services
YOUTH CONSULTATION, FEEDBACK, AND INSIGHTS
Leverage AYAC’s youth membership of more than 1,200 young people aged 12–25 to gain valuable youth perspectives and insights for your projects, policies, and initiatives. AYAC can connect you with diverse groups of young people to ensure their voices meaningfully inform your work. Please note, we advocate for the fair compensation of young participants for their time and contributions.

This training is aimed at organisations and government seeking to engage in meaningful co-design with young people to develop initiatives that ensure their needs and perspectives are fully considered.
CONSULTATIONS
Effective youth consultation is a skill. We can enhance your consultation methods through facilitating in a youth-specific and engaging way, or through the provision of tailored support and advice to improve your own practices.
POLICY, RESEARCH, AND ADVICE
We are experienced in policy and research analysis and development. We can assist with your research project or inform your youth policy development. As youth affairs experts we can provide advice and recommendations on a wide range of youth issues.
