Upcoming Opportunities

So you never have to miss an AYAC event

Young Men’s Research Opportunity with Deakin University

Researchers at Deakin University are running a project looking at how parents and carers shape young men’s views on gender equality, respect, and non-violence. They’re keen to hear from young men aged 18–30 in Australia who:

  • Grew up in a home where gender equality was important.

  • Think their upbringing has influenced how they see fairness and respect in relationships.

  • Have experiences or stories about being raised by parents or carers who valued gender equality

If you decide to take part, you will join a 1-hour chat on Zoom or MS Teams to share your experiences with the researchers.

During the chat, you will reflect on your upbringing and how it shaped your views today.

There will be a $30 gift card as a thank-you for your time.

Applications close Wednesday 30 April.
