About Professor. Dr Mike Seal

Prof. Mike Seal has been involved in the multiple disadvantage, homeless and youth and community work fields as client, worker, manager, academic and researcher for over 30 years. With a Doctorate in Education and a range of other qualifications, he directs the Centre for Research into the Education of Marginalised Children and Young Adults (CREMCYA) and teaches at St Marys University Twickenham. He has also been the National Director of the Professional Association of Lecturers of Youth and Community Work and a visiting professor at Newman University and Leeds Beckett University. Mike has led co-productive research projects on various issues affecting marginalised communities, including youth violence, homelessness, and inclusion.
