The AYAC Fellowship is empowering young people to lead and influence national policy and increase the representation of young people in public debate.
Overview
The AYAC Fellowship program includes training in policy, media and advocacy and supports participants to directly meet with government to represent the interests and experiences of young people in Australia.
Members
The members of the AYAC Fellowship include young people from across the country who are committed to advocating for the rights of young people.
Training
The AYAC Fellowship program supports participants with access to professional development and training in advocacy, policy and media to strengthen their skills and support them in their role as leaders.
Advocacy Training
How to map advocacy priorities, manage stakeholders and speak with decision-makers to influence change.
Media Training
How to use storytelling and key messages to engage the media and journalists to strengthen advocacy.
Policy Training
How to write policy, manage the policy development process, make persuasive arguments and engage with government.
